Ecco l'articolo!

"Girls, especially those who were teenagers in the 1990s, get ready to faint and scream on February 20, the day when the Backstreet Boys will perform their Delhi gig. “It’s going to be an amazing show with a lot of energy. It’s our first time in India and we’re looking forward to it,” said Nick Carter on behalf of the band over an e-mail interview from the US.

The Orlando-based multi-Grammy nominated boy band with Nick Carter, Brian Littrell, AJ McLean and Howie Dorough that ruled the charts with songs like Quit playing games with my heart, As Long as you love me and I’ll never break your heart, will perform at the Rock ‘n India festival in Delhi that is being organised by Bangalore-based DNA Networks.

The concert is 90 minutes long and according to the band, “It is going to be a good mixture of new songs and the oldies everyone wants to hear. Hopefully we’ll be hearing a lot of you guys singing along with us.”

One of the biggest selling music groups in the 90s, the band is now looking to expand their fan base to youngsters today. “We just love to have a good time and sing and dance. So if you are an old BSB fan or a new one, you will have a good time at the show,” they said.

They are one member slimmer (Kevin Richardson is not with the band anymore) but they attribute the secret of their long term survival to loving what they do. “We love entertaining our fans. It’s such a great feeling getting on stage and performing for everyone. We couldn’t imagine doing anything else.” Their seventh studio album This is Us that came out in October last year might not be earth shatteringly unique, but the fact that they are in town promoting the album as a part of the This is Us tour has generated some excitement among their fans. They get back to their next studio album immediately after this tour. “We love making music and trying different sounds. We can’t wait to see how our next project turns out,” said Carter.

The annual music festival, Rock’n India which hosted international bands Megadeth, Machine Head and Iron Maiden in Bangalore in the last two years has shifted the tone of music this time, focusing on a wider range of fans – from mainstream to classic rock and some pop numbers.

Singer Richard Marx, South African explosive alternative band Prime Circle & Jayce Lewis, supported by Swarathma and Indigo Children will also be the highlights of the show."

Non ci resta che attendere allora! ;-D
